TOUCH GOLD has sired earners of more than $5,000,000 for the second consecutive year. Through December 6, he had 11 stakes horses, 96 winners, 11 two-year-old winners.
TOUCH GOLD sired two impressive two-year-old winners at Churchill Downs November 9th. $480,000 yearling SPRITELY won her second race in two starts, with a front-running effort at seven furlongs. She is owned by Edward P. Evans and trained by Todd Pletcher. Debut starter KEEP THE PEACE shot to the front and never looked back, breaking her maiden by 4 1/2 with six furlongs in 1:10 1/5. She is owned by Gary and Mary West.
A week earlier, TOUCH GOLD's SUGAR SWIRL won her third stakes race, taking the $110,900 Very Subtle S. by three lengths at Churchill Downs in 1:09 4/5.

powered to an easy victory in the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride
S., becoming the 18th stakes winner for TOUCH
GOLD. Favored at 9-5, the $340,000 former Keeneland
yearling was first at every call, and posted
a winning margin of three lengths. TOUCH GOLD
continues to have exceptional success with his
2004 crop. He sired 17 juvenile winners, SIX
stakes horses, and earners of more than $743,000
from this crop in 2006. He has added eight more
winners in 2007, and boasts 25 winners, seven
stakes horses, and over $1.4-million in earnings
from his current crop of three-year-olds.

Two new 2007 stakes winners in two days boosted TOUCH GOLD's earnings past $2.3-million by June 16th. Belmont Park stakes winner SUGAR SWIRL posted a gritty victory in the 6 1/2-furlong Alyssum S. June 15, while SHESGOLDINCOLOR won her first added money event, the No Winking S. over 5 furlongs at Calder. These two are the fourth and fifth 2007 stakes winners for TOUCH GOLD.
During May, TOUCH GOLD sired five stakes horses, including a Grade 3 two-year-old:Daughter TAKE A CHECK was stakes-placed at Pimlico May 26th; SUGAR SWIRL placed in the Yank's Music Stakes at Belmont May 23rd; Adena 2YO graduate ADA'S DREAM became the 34th career stakes horses for her sire when stakes-placed May 19th; 3-year-old FERRARI PISA became Touch Gold's 19th SWwith a 3-length win in the Hyogo Championship in Japan May 4th; and YOGI'SSPLASHOFGOLD, TOUCH GOLD's first 2yo starter of year, beat colts when 2nd in the $150,000 Kentucky Breeders' Cup-G3 at Churchill May 3rd.
TOUCH GOLD fillies EYES ON EDDY and SUGAR SWIRL also ran 1-2 in a $58,000 Churchill allowance May 2nd.
